Not sure how many of you have experienced this issue occurred on Windows7 environment. The issue is been observed when trying to open any .pdf file on Adobe Acrobat reader and Adobe Reader not started or opened the selected .pdf file. Instead it displayed the following error message. It is also true that it was working earlier.
What is the error?

This problem mainly occurred on the 64-bit operating system machine where the 32-bit compatible application is installed. In our case, the Adobe Reader application is a clean 32-bit (x86) application that is installed on a 64-bit machine. The run time library MSVCR100.dll is detected as a faulty module that belongs to the c++ redistributable package located in Windows.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that help to resolve this problem.
The solutions are provided in the priority order that is most expected to be work. If any of the steps did not work for you, then go into the subsequent step. In our case the Solution 1 is worked for us. Also, Solution 2 and 3 are not tried by the author and treat this as the suggestion to make clean installation once again.
